Emersion’s ‘Point of Sale’ System allows our client to sell Hardware, Labour and other items at the point of sale and generate invoices straight away, or add these charges to the end of period invoice. If the clients implementation is using the Emersion Payment System, live payments may also be taken at the time of sale from a Credit Card or Direct Debit.
A number of our clients are selling hardware with their services and requested a solution to support payment of these items over time.
Today Emersion has released an update that extended the Point of Sale System to support Installment Based Purchases – such as Monthly Repayments of Mobile Phone handsets.
These can be bound to the Service itself and as such if a service is canceled during contract the break fee will include the remaining repayments on the Installment Plan.
Clients also have the ability to force an installment plan to be broken or paid out. This will effectively stop the payment plan, and create a corresponding charge for the remainder of the purchase.
