Umbrella User Interfaces
The Umbrella Architecture User Interface (
Umbrella UI) presents a user friendly web interface, while powerful back-end elements provide seamless interfaces to allow complete control over Entities, System Modules and Services from a single web portal.
The Umbrella UI Comprises the UI components of each System Module and provides all the key features You (the Service Provider) need to manage your products and services. User logins can be created to allow controlled access to Emersions Systems. User Access Permissions are managed using the Permissions Component of the Entity Management System Module.
The Umbrella UI incorporates a dashboard (
Dashboard) which allows each User to personalise the items viewed on their front page, to show specific modules and functions relevant to the user after login.
All System Modules and functions that a User is authorised to access may be set to display on the User’s Dashboard. Each accessible function can also be reached via the Main Menu.
It acts like your Home page, showing the News panel along with the modules and functions you have set up in the Dashboard Chooser (
Dashboard Chooser).
Detailed Help provides extensive information about the system with easy to follow step-by-step instructions.
The built-in Help in the Umbrella UI provides information about each System Module and function with easy to follow, step-by-step instructions, while the mouse over Hint function displays simple help / tips about the current field or operation.
You can hide, or display, the Help panel by clicking the Help button.
The Help button acts like a toggle, either hiding or displaying the Help panel.
Some fields, or columns, have a
symbol beside it that indicates that there is hint information available. When you place your cursor over the symbol, text will appear containing a brief description about the field and / or what information is required.

The Umbrella User Interface contains the Online Ordering Portal, which in the future will allow You to add System Modules and Services to the Emersion Platform as you require them.
The collection of web services provides a powerful Application Programming Interface (
API) to seamlessly integrate your systems and applications with many of Emersions Systems. Functions available include Business management, bundles and plans sales, service provisioning and status, view usage, view invoices and payments. XML RPC, SOAP or CSV import and export interfaces are available.
Service Information is sent to or retrieved from the Clients Supplier(s) using Supplier specific interfaces (
Supplier Specific Interfaces). Each Supplier that Emersions Systems interacts with will be as specified in Service Schedules associated with each System Module. To access a new Supplier Specific Interface you will need to execute the respective Service Schedule. Charges will apply for activation and maintenance of each Supplier Specific Interface (SSI).
